Kurs będzie poświęcony dyskusji nad takimi zagadnieniami jak: wolna wola, odpowiedzialność moralna, odpowiedzialność prawna, sprawstwo. |

Kurs będzie dotyczył fundamentalnych kwestii związanych z wolną wolą i odpowiedzialnością. Oba zagadnienia zostaną ujęte w perspektywie historycznej jak i w odniesieniu do współczesnych dyskusji. Ponadto w trakcie zajęć nawiąże się do wybranych faktów z zakresu nauk empirycznych |

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS: |
Learning outcomes: Knowledge: The course will explore the fundamental issues of the free will and responsibility problem, both in the historical and at the contemporary dimension. Some relevant scientific issues will also be explored Skills: Special attention will be put in the formulation of definitions and arguments and in the ability to advocate different points on the investigated issues. Competencies: Ability to read, understand, speak and write in English in regard to philosophical issues. |
Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
Teaching methods: Presentations (also in Powerpoint); use of clips; group discussions Assessment criteria: The students are supposed to study the readings in advance and to participate actively in class discussions. Their writings will be judged by putting particular attention to clarity and rigor of their argumentation. |
