Short description:	Course level: B2 Upper-intermediate Course targets: Making students familiar with variants of the French language. Course using Moodle course management system. Entrance requirements: Placement test – level B2
Full description:	Course content: Vocabulary: “verlan”, English loan-words in French, French linguistic variants used outside France, spoken French, Grammar: conditionals Academic skills: oral and written expression using the appropriate linguistic register Assessment: Continuous assessment on the basis of class attendance (no more than two unjustified absences in a semester), active participation, preparation for classes, home assignments- including a collective assignment concerning variations of French; a written test at the end of the semester.

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:	(in Polish) Student, który zaliczy cykl kształcenia posiada umiejętności językowe zgodne z wymaganiami określonymi dla poziomu B2 Europejskiego Systemu Opisu Kształcenia Językowego, a w szczególności: w zakresie UMIEJĘTNOŚCI: • Potrafi porozumiewać się płynnie i spontanicznie, z wykorzystaniem różnych kanałów i technik komunikacyjnych w stopniu umożliwiającym w miarę swobodną konwersację z obcokrajowcami na tematy ogólne oraz związane ze studiowaną specjalnością.(H1A_U07) • Potrafi, na podstawie wyszukanych informacji, napisać jasny i spełniający warunki formalne tekst na wiele tematów ogólnych oraz związanych ze studiowaną dyscypliną. Posiada umiejętność przekazywania na piśmie informacji oraz wyrażania swojego zdania podając argumenty za i przeciw. ( H1A_U08, H1A_U03, H1A_U01) • Potrafi samodzielnie przygotować i wygłosić prezentację ustną przedstawiając swój pogląd na dany temat ( w tym także na tematy związane ze studiowaną specjalnością) oraz podając argumenty za i przeciw.
