  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;

  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the most important problems concerning:

• Industrial Emissions Directives (IED)

• Best Available Techniques (BAT)

• Integrated permits (BAT)

• Environmental impact assessments in the context of integrated permits

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:

Lecture:

Objective effect No. 1 - The graduate knows and understands the causes and effects of industrial emissions hazards, the possibilities and effects of using the best available techniques (BAT), the principles and mechanisms of integrated permits (PZ) - IS2P_W02.

Objective effect No. 2 - The graduate knows and understands the following concepts: emission and immission, formation of pollutants, standards and limit values ​​of pollutant emission to the environment, possibilities of practical use of BAT, principles of obtaining and methods of implementation (PZ) - (IS2P_W10).

Design:

Objective effect No. 1 - The graduate is able to use their knowledge, collect and interpret data from various sources regarding: identification of sources and determination of pollutant concentrations, degree of environmental contamination, best available techniques and the functioning of an integrated permit for various industries (IS2P_U04).

Objective effect No. 2 - The graduate is able to make a critical analysis of the functioning of existing technical solutions by assessing: pollutant emissions, critical concentrations of pollutants, assessing the application of BAT and PZ, as well as propose a concept of solutions protecting the environment for a selected industry - (IS2P_U10).

-na grade 2 (ndst.): unable to analyze the Integrated Permit (PZ) based on BAT (Best Available Technique) conclusions

- with a grade of 3 (dst.): at a sufficient level, is able to analyze the Integrated Permit (IP) based on the BAT conclusions

-na grade 4 (db): able to analyze the Integrated Permit (IP) at a good level, based on BAT conclusions

- 5 (very good): he is able to analyze the Integrated Permit (IP) in an excellent way, based on the BAT conclusions
