Full description:

Substantive issues:

During the seminar students are going to discuss chosen problems of the

philosophy of medicine (the life and death problem, medicine as the science

and art, methods of the medicine, medical language, etc.) and the

philosophy of natural science.

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

Conditions for receiving a credit:

1.Attendance and active participation in seminar

2.Written work:

a)My MA students – thesis

b)The rest of students: end of course essay (full text around 15 printed

pages). Topic can be given by the student and accepted by the professor,

but not later than end of February (if not, the topic will be given by the

professor).

c)To deliver a paper – II year students on their thesis, the rest of

students on the end of course essay.

I year students: topic and initial structure of the thesis shall be

submitted to the Professor by the end of the second semester.
