The workshops are designed to create attitudes and skills that will enable their participants to become more effective people who support others who would like to make changes in their lives (concerning some unfavorable situation) |
Full description: |
These will be primarily practical exercises supported by appropriate, given to the necessary extent knowledge. There will be used the elements of interpersonal communication drawn from the T. Gordon’s model. In addition, elements of the Nonviolent Communication by M. Rosenberg, as well as to a large extent, Motivational Interviewing. Participants will learn and practice the principles of proper listening, conflict resolution. A large part of the exercises will be devoted to the process of change and its individual elements (Engaging, Focusing, Evoking, Planning) |

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS: |
The student defines the principles of proper listening, lists the elements of the change process, characterizes the spirit of the motivating dialogue, describes the elements that characterize it, presents techniques helpful in motivating other people to change He/she is able to listen in a supportive way, he / she can establish a working relationship with another person, help him determine the priorities and directions of leaving unfavorable situations, he can also activate the possibilities available in the other person, thanks to which he can change an undesirable situation. He/she keeps openness to other people, accepts them cares for their good, cooperates with them, is able to adapt to the needs of a person in need of support, is oriented to the pursuit of the other person's important and needed goals, appreciates the potential of another person. |
