Introduction to the basic issues of psychotherapy (contact, insight, change, consolidation of change). Practical knowledge of some methods and techniques used in the basic directions of individual and group psychotherapy. |

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS: |
Knowledge: The student knows what psychotherapy does, has knowledge of basic issues in its field, knows its main trends, principles of establishing a therapeutic relationship as well as basic therapeutic methods and techniques from various psychological fields. Skills: The student understands the principles of establishing contact with another person, knows how to conduct a therapeutic interview, interpret verbal and non-verbal information, create a framework therapy plan, is able to propose therapeutic techniques and methods appropriate for a given form of dysfunction. |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
Knowledge : (2): The student does not know what psychotherapy does, does not know the rules of its application, does not understand the importance of crisis in human life. (3): The student is briefly familiar with psychotherapy, has little knowledge about basic issues in its field, including principles of establishing a therapeutic relationship and basic therapeutic methods and techniques. (4): The student has the correct knowledge of psychotherapy, knows the models of therapeutic work in selected disorders, but does not always understand the importance of crises in human life. (5): The student is perfectly familiar with the discipline of psychotherapy, knows the principles of establishing a therapeutic relationship and basic therapeutic methods and techniques, understands the importance of crises in human life, has knowledge about how to prevent these phenomena. Skills : (2): The student is not able to make contact with another person, is not able to conduct a therapeutic interview or create a framework therapy plan. (3): The student makes poor contact with another person, knows how to conduct a therapeutic interview, but is not able to fully assess its value, has difficulty proposing a framework therapy plan. (4): The student correctly establishes contact with another person, knows how to conduct a therapeutic interview and appreciates its value, is able to propose some therapeutic techniques and methods. (5): The student is able to make contact with another person perfectly, knows how to conduct a therapeutic interview and appreciate its value, tries to interpret verbal and non-verbal information, is able to propose appropriate therapeutic techniques and methods, look for therapeutic references in real and fictional situations. Competences: The degree of openness and sensitivity to the patient, prudence, responsibility and criticism in the formulation of assessments and creativity in the search for methods of assistance, as well as involvement in team work are assessed. |
