Short description: |
Goals: The goal of this subject is to convey knowledge of the basic therapeutic workshop in relation to assistance/aid, to develop contact and diagnosing skills with patients in the process of therapy; Training effects: formation of the correct manner/attitude in the relation of psychologist and patient, basic diagnosing skills of problems and provision of psychological assistance; Grading methods: Written test . Obligatory items for grading: material presented during workshops, student’s active attitude, laboratory work on the case studies and readings of the discussed topics. |

Essence of program: 1. Definitions, classifications, basic concepts of psychological assistance (2h) 2. Basic skills in the situation of aid provision (12h) - Empatia Empathy - Observation - Listening - Non verbal communication - Understanding - Advanced skills of providing aid to somebody (conflict, mediation, deep empathy, challenging) 3. Supportive - therapeutic relation (10h): - alliance - transference and countertransference - various attitudes towards relation - resistence in the process of assistance - Enright’s questions 4. The person of therapeutist – helper: (4h) 5. Supervision in the process of assistance (2h) |
