The lecuture is devoted to the issue of self presentation, an area of knowledge from the border of two psychology: psychology of self and social psychology.The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge about basic theories of self-presentation, its determinants and cosequences for the functioning of subject. |

The lectures contain the following themes: 1. Identity and pragmatic functions of self-presentation 2.The phenomenon of internalization of self-presentation 3. Gender identity and self-presentation. The role of sex and psychological gender. 4. Individual differences in self-presentation. Self-construal and self-presentation. 5. Attractiveness of ingratiation, self-promotion and self-handicapping. 6. Self-presentartion of people with different self-esteem. 7. The role of beauty and self - presentation for interpersonal attractivenes in intimate and collegial relationships. |

Konwledge: Student has the konwledge about self-presentation at advanced level. Understands and demonstrates the scientificic knowledge of the rules for wiriting disertation work. Abilities: has the ability to independently plan and carry out a research project. Has the ability to communicate with students and staff, leads the scientific discussion. Is able to formulate and solve the scientific problems. ECTS participation in lecture - 15 h preparation to exams - 45 h Sum: 60 h. = 2 point of ECTS |
