Short description:

Elementary course of English after which a student begins to cope with basic communicative situations. This is an A2 course according to Common European Framework. A student on this course shouldn’t be an absolute zero beginner, but be able to tackle items such as colours, numbers, or the days of a week.

One/ones, adjectives describing a person, informal letter describing family, possessive adjectives, ordinal numbers, months, saying what belongs to who, past simple, irregular verbs, phrasal verbs, understanding an article, recognising a person from simple description, present simple, adverbs of frequency, names of clothes, writing a request for a colleague, present continuous, adverbs of manner, jobs, parts of a house, revision of clothes, saying what we are doing now, present simple/continuous, weather, health, small talk, complaining in a shop, a letter of complaint, comparing adjectives, mass media, comparing things and people, adjective in superlative degree, types of films, writing a short film review, prefer with noun/ing, will for decisions and offers, vocabulary connected with art, talking about preferences, discussing and planning activities, present perfect, travel, holidays, sports, personal experiences, understanding key points of a travel brochure, writing a holiday postcard to a friend, ing only as a subject, types of transport, booking a ticket, understanding fundamental information in a hotel, booking a room.
