Full description: |
Lecture presents selected items of Digital Systems both as projects and as the real practical integrated circuits. Discussed are the design, construction, h/w realization and/or equivalent programming procedures. The tutorials closely follow the flow of lectures to illustrate the discussed items with the detailed analysis and design of the selected systems. |

lecture: W1-knows and understands the techniques of digital and computer circuits (I1_W10) W2-knows and understands the physical basics of computers (I1_W14) lab: U1-is able to apply IT knowledge to solve tasks with an average level of difficulty (I1_U02) U2-can model and represent digital data of various types (I1_U04) |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
For all effects, the following assessment criteria are adopted for all forms of verification: grade 5: fully achieved (no obvious shortcomings), grade 4.5: achieved almost fully and criteria for awarding a higher grade are not met, grade 4: largely achieved and the criteria for a higher grade are not met, score 3.5: largely achieved - with a clear majority of positives - and the criteria for granting a higher grade are not met, grade 3: achieved for most of the cases covered by the verification and criteria for a higher grade are not met, grade 2: not achieved for most of the cases covered by the verification. Lecture: written exam Tutorials: final test Marking scale 0 - 50 = 2,0 ndst 51 - 60 = 3,0 61 - 70 = 3,5 71 - 80 = 4,0 81 - 90 = 4,5 91 - 100 = 5,0 |
