Celem przedmiotu jest wprowadzenie do problematyki sieci mobilnych i bezprzewodowych. Zostaną przedstawione zagadnienia teoretyczne leżące u podstaw komunikacji mobilnej i bezprzewodowej jak też współczesne technologie takich sieci. Szczególna uwaga będzie poświęcona sieciom telefonii komórkowej. Zostaną przedstawione również inne segmenty technologii mobilnych i bezprzewodowych, takie jak systemy satelitarne, sieci ad hoc i sieci sensorowe oraz bezprzewodowe sieci lokalne i sieci personalne.

WYKŁAD LUB KONWERSATORIUM

Student

W1 - zna i rozumie fizyczne podstawy działania sieci bezprzewodowych (I1_W16),

W2 - zna modele matematyczne opisujące działanie sieci mobilnych i bezprzewodowych (I1_W16),

W3 - zna i rozumie koncepcje budowy i funkcjonowania sieci mobilnych i bezprzewodowych, oraz założenia standardów sieci GSM i UMTS (I1_W16),

W4 - zna i rozumie techniki zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa sieci mobilnych i bezprzewodowych (I1_W16),

U1 - potrafi używać języka matematyki do opisywania działania sieci mobilnych i bezprzewodowych (I1_U18).

LABORATORIUM

Student

W1 - zna koncepcje związane z systemami kolejkowymi (I1_W16),

U1 - potrafi symulować stację bazową sieci telefonii komórkowej (I1_U18),

U2 - potrafi używać języka matematyki do opisywania działania sieci mobilnych i bezprzewodowych (I1_U18).
Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

For all learning outcomes, the following assessment criteria are adopted for all forms of verification:

grade 5: fully achieved (no obvious shortcomings),

grade 4.5: achieved almost fully and criteria for awarding a higher grade are not met,

grade 4: largely achieved and the criteria for a higher grade are not met,

grade 3.5: largely achieved - with a clear majority of positives - and the criteria for granting a higher grade are not met,

grade 3: achieved for most of the cases covered by the verification and criteria for a higher grade are not met,

grade 2: not achieved for most of the cases covered by the verification.
