To prepare the student by providing knowledge about the child in different periods of life: its physical, motor and psychical development. Developing skills of recognizing nursing problems, planning and taking care of a healthy and ill child, taking into consideration its biological, social and psychical needs. Developing attitude of responsibility for undertaken actions and cooperation with family, school and other institutions, taking care of children.
