Programme/educational objectives

1. Understanding relations between theory of career counselling and theory of developmental psychology;

2. Understanding relations betweentheory of career counseling andtheories of human personality;

3. Understanding relations betweentheory of career counseling and occupational psychology;

4. Recognizing different theories of career counseling;

5. Understanding the role of career counselling in adapting occupation to individual predispositions;

6. Evaluating theory of career counselling as necessity for employer and employee.

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:

Knows chosen points of view: philosophical, psychological and social, which are the theoretical base of pedagogical activity, labour law, incessanteducation and occupational ethics.

Has basic knowledge about human development in biological and psychological aspectand social need to diagnose and prognosticate occupational usefulness based on measuring technology.

Has elementary knowledge about various social structures, social life institutions and interactions between them. Have competences to be human resources manager,

Is able to use basic theoretical terms to analyse, interpret and design strategy of pedagogical activities;

Is conscious about own knowledge and abilities, understands the need for self and occupational development.Is able to evaluate own competences and improve them. Can indicate client way to develop occupational career by entire life.

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

Lecture illustrated by slides and multimedia presentation

Oral test evaluated according to obligatory scale of grades
