Short description:

Preparation of substantive and practical to identify the needs in the field of health education and health promotion, planning and effective action, aimed at strengthening health in specific communities and of evaluation of actions taken.

Full description:

Subject implies issues enabling individuals and social groups to increase control over the determinants of health in order to improve their health and conducive to developing a healthy lifestyle, as well as the formation of other environmental and individual differences factors leading to health.

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:

Shows and explains the differences between health promotion and prevention

and health education and practical implications arising from them.

It is characterized by areas of activity and methods used in health promotion and identifies health promotion strategies at local, national and international.

It is characterized by initiative, the nature of the activities nurses in health promotion perspective of local, national

international and discusses the principles of building programs of health promotion and health education.

Actually, selects and uses the available tools for the assessment of biological, socio-economic and cultural-environmental determinants of health of the individual and society.

It prepares the individual and the family to increase control over their own health condition.

Constructs a health promotion programs and health education based on an appropriately sized model of health promotion and the methods and techniques of health education and develops and implements individualized programs of health promotion and health education according to identified health needs of individuals and families, working with individuals, groups and institutions support working for public health.

Presents the personal attitude of health-promoting behavior pattern.

Demonstrates openness for cooperation with individuals, families, support groups and institutions working for the benefit of public health.

- To evaluate 5 (bdb.) can properly be used during classes proposed procedure is able to compare their effectiveness and independently identify the tools needed to solve the given problem while justifying their selection.
