Short description:

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the main psychological concepts in the child's cognitive development. Indication of an important element of pedagogical and psychological diagnosis in the cognition of the child, as well as acquainting students with various psychopedagogical methods and techniques used to better understand the child.

Child as a subject of pedagogical activities.

Main psychological concepts of child cognition: behaviorism, humanist concept, cognition.

Research Strategies in the Humanities.

Main methods, techniques and tools in learning the nature of the child.

Pedagogical and psychological diagnosis as part of multi-faceted child cognition.

The student has a general knowledge of the diagnosis and its main pedagogical paradigms, has selected educational research strategies based on the accepted paradigm.

Skills:

Student is able to identify the right strategy, methods, techniques and tools based on the expected information about the child. Students analyze the usefulness of various tools in different areas of research.

Social competences:

He is aware of his knowledge and diagnostic skills. He understands the need for continuing to acquire and broaden their knowledge. It has a sense of responsibility and the consequences of an incorrect diagnosis.
