Preliminary Requirements:

Advanced knowledge of child development and functioning. Knowledge of developmental rules. Advanced level of knowledge about the factors determining the process of upbringing and education.

Short description:

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the main psychological concepts in the child's cognitive development. Indication of an important element of pedagogical and psychological diagnosis in the cognition of the child, as well as acquainting students with various psychopedagogical methods and techniques used to better understand the child.

Full description:

At an in-depth level, the subject is interested in the child as a subject of pedagogical activities. The main psychological concepts in getting to know the child at an in-depth level are analyzed analytically. Main trends in past times and contemporary reality relating to learning about the nature of a child.

Knowledge:

The student has a general knowledge of the diagnosis and its main pedagogical paradigms, has selected educational research strategies based on the accepted paradigm.

Skills:

Student is able to identify the right strategy, methods, techniques and tools based on the expected information about the child. Students analyze the usefulness of various tools in different areas of research.

Social competences:

He is aware of his knowledge and diagnostic skills. He understands the need for continuing to acquire and broaden their knowledge. It has a sense of responsibility and the consequences of an incorrect diagnosis.
