Preliminary Requirements:	Knowledge in the field of preschool and early school pedagogy, the basics of development and functioning of a child at preschool and early school age, including a child with special educational needs.
Short description:	The subject discusses the program assumptions regarding the implementation of the core curriculum of pre-school and early school education.
Full description:	The subject discusses the principles and legal assumptions regarding the implementation and approval of curricula at the stage of kindergarten and the first educational stage. It discusses examples of textbooks approved by the Ministry of National Education for implementation as part of educating children in kindergartens and schools. Analyzes the substantive content, the graphic layer, the area for implementation by the child/student in selected, exemplary textbooks. It discusses packages of textbooks for working with children at the stage of pre-school and early school education.
Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:	PPW_W03 - has knowledge of the challenges, tasks and functions of preschool and early childhood education PPW_U05 - can select, create, test and modify materials, means and methods of working with a child/student in accordance with the planned/implemented process of upbringing and education PPW_K08 - is able to design and take action to improve the quality of kindergarten/school work
Assessment methods and assessment criteria:	Assessment of attendance and activity in the classroom. One absence is allowed. More than one absence, each subsequent absence results in a reduction of the subject grade by half a grade. Assessment of the student's attitude and his preparation for classes. Assessment of the work carried out during the classes. Assessment of self-implemented scenarios. The final grade will be the result of the partial grades received by the student.
