Basic knowledge of the development and functioning of a child. Knowledge of developmental rules, learning concepts.

Short description:

The subject implies the latest trends in early childhood education in its theoretical and practical dimensions. The student will learn the pedagogical basis of educational interactions and the latest organizational, program and methodological solutions at the early school level.

Full description:

The subject is to analyze the basic problems and conceptual categories in the field of pedagogy, which enable the understanding of the correctness of the teaching process and school upbringing, in the context of the student's needs and development opportunities. The subject, referring to the philosophical, psychological or sociological sciences, draws attention to the achievements of pedagogy important for educational practice, as well as current trends in the development of pedagogy and issues being the subject of research and theoretical considerations.

W3 - The student knows the paradigms of early education, their determinants and the consequences of the theoretical assumptions in working with a child in the school environment; challenges, tasks and functions of early childhood education.

W4 - The student knows the subject and methodological specificity of pedagogy

early school; major schools, research orientations, strategies and

test methods; map of positions and methodological approaches; rules and

ethical standards for the design and implementation of research in the field of pedagogy

early childhood and alternative.

U5 - The student is able to design, organize and adapt the learning and teaching environment, select, create, test and modify materials,

means and methods in accordance with the goals of education and

education, taking into account specific needs and opportunities

individual students of the class.

U12 - The student is able to rationally, in accordance with the rules of mental work technique, design children's activities at school, manage class time, responsibly and purposefully organize the work of a child (student) respecting his right to rest.

He is able to observe and diagnose pedagogical situations and events, using the acquired psychological, philosophical, sociological and medical knowledge. He can conduct pedagogical activities, recognize the needs, abilities and talents of children (including children with special educational needs) and plan, implement and evaluate personalized education and upbringing programs. It presents an attitude of readiness to shape appropriate behavior and attitudes of children (students) towards the outside world, including towards culture and art.

For a satisfactory grade /3,0/ The student knows the basic knowledge of early education, the tasks and functions of early childhood education, the principles and ethical standards of designing and conducting research in the field of early childhood education and alternative education. Can observe and diagnose pedagogical situations and events, using acquired psychological, philosophical, sociological and medical knowledge. He can conduct pedagogical activities, recognize the needs, abilities and talents of children (including children with special educational needs) and plan, implement and evaluate education and upbringing programs.
