  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;
  • weekly student workload necessary to achieve the assumed learning outcomes allows to obtain 1.5 ECTS;
  • work required to pass the course, which has been assigned 3 ECTS, constitutes 10% of the semester student load.

Short description:

The course aims to acquaint students with alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in administration. The practical utilization of ADR in the functioning of administrative agencies and courts is highlighted.

Assessment:

AD1_U01:

2 - The student is unable to interpret social/legal phenomena within the appropriate scope of administrative law and explain their mutual relations. 3, 3+

- The student can only explain social/legal phenomena within the relevant scope of administrative law to a basic extent and their mutual relations.

4, 4+ - It is expected that students can correctly interpret social and legal phenomena within the typical scope of administrative law, and

explain their mutual relationships, while achieving a grade of 5 requires accurate interpretation of social and legal phenomena within the scope relevant to administrative law, and the ability to explain their mutual relationships.

AD1_U02:

2 - The student lacks the ability to apply theoretical knowledge within the appropriate scope of administrative law and to critically select research methods and data for analyzing societal trends.

3, 3+ - The student can apply theoretical knowledge within a basic level of relevancy to administrative law and can critically select research methods and data for analyzing societal trends.

4, 4+ - The student demonstrates proficiency in applying theoretical knowledge within the appropriate scope of administrative law, as well as critical selection of research methods and data for analysing social phenomena.

A grade of 5 indicates that the student can competently and independently apply relevant theoretical knowledge specific to administrative law, critically select research methods and data, and analyse the progression of social phenomena.

2 - The student is unable to analyse social processes through the prism of administrative law and cannot formulate or verify simple research hypotheses.

student has a basic ability to analyse social processes through the prism of administrative law, formulate simple research hypotheses, and verify them.

4, 4+ - The student has the ability to analyse social processes through the perspective of administrative law.

They are able to formulate basic research hypotheses and test them. 5 - The student can accurately and effortlessly analyse social processes through the lens of administrative law. They can formulate straightforward research hypotheses and effectively test them.

AD1_U04:

2 - the student is not able to use the methods and tools appropriate to the science of administrative law to present forecasts and analyse cultural/political/legal/social/economic phenomena; he/she is not able to create models of complex processes of social life

3,3+ - the student is able to use methods and tools typical for the science of administrative law to present prognoses and analyse cultural/political/legal/social/economic phenomena only to a basic degree; he/she is able to create models of complex social life processes
