Judgments of the European Court of Human Rights in cases against Poland and in matters concerning public officials and the performance of public authority

Full description:

1. The catalogue of rights and fundamental human rights in the European Convention on Human Rights

2.Status of a public officials in the sphere of human rights.

3. Responsibilities of administration in relation to the right to life and prohibition of torture, degrading treatment or punishment.

4. Responsibilities of administration in relation to the right to liberty and personal security of a man and the conditions of detention

5. Responsibilities of administration in respect of respect for family and private life.

6. Responsibilities of the administration in the field of protection of children's rights.

7. Responsibilities of administration in the field of freedom of expression, assembly and association

8. Responsibilities of administration in relation to property protection

- the ability to selectively (on the basis of the indicated issue) analise the European Convention on Human Rights and the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights and the Constitutional Court

- ability to synthetically present judgments of the European Court of Human Rights and the Constitutional Tribunal

- ability to conduct interdisciplinary analysis of issues in the field of human rights protection

The exam is in writing. Consists of:

- 5 descriptive questions.

Punctation:

- a descriptive question: 1 point each; maximum 5 points; The condition for passing the exam test is to obtain at least 3 points.
