The aim of the course is to acquire systematic knowledge in the field of intellectual property law.

The thematic scope includes:

1. The concept of intellectual property

2. Sources of intellectual property rights

3. International agreements in the field of intellectual property

4. Division into copyright law and related rights, industrial property law, in relation to competition law

5. Scope of copyright law

6. Exploitation rights and personal rights

7. Basic information about copyright contracts

8. Basic information on related rights

9. Database protection

10. Unfair competition and competition laws

11. Trademarks, subject of protection and entities authorized to reporting

12. The concept of an invention and a patent, entities entitled to apply invention for protection; European patent

13. Basic information on registration and protection of inventions

14. Final essay
