  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;

Short description:

The subject is to familiarize students with the methodology of conducting e-research.

Full description:

The subject takes up the issue of conducting e-research. Available solutions in the field of e-research methodology, benefits and risks will be presented, as well as myths related to the methodology of e-research and the latest available solutions will be debunked.

Bibliography:

No leading textbook. The instructor will provide the materials to students via USOSMAIL or make them available on the Moodle platform.

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:

EK1: characterizes the methodology of conducting e-research.

EK2: knows and explains the basic concepts of the methodology of conducting e-research

EK3: can use the tools for conducting e-research.

EK4: knows the importance of e-research in scientific research and the correct methodology for carrying it out.

EK5: is able to independently assess the available solutions and their effectiveness when conducting e-research also ina foreign language

Description of ECTS:

Participation in the lecture: 15 h

Reading the selected literature: 5 h

Self-development of materials: 5 h

Preparation for the test: 25 h

Total hours: 50

Number of ECTS: 50 h / 25 = 2 ECTS

The didactic methods for achieving EK1 are: informative lecture, the way to verify the learning effect is the presentation and continuous assessment.
