The lecture covers a wide range of issues related to the development of American civilization from the time after the Civil War to the second decade of the 21st century: domestic and foreign policy, economy, literature, art, society. The issues are presented synchronously in chronological order. The lecture is accompanied by rich iconography presented in the form of slides. |

Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
When teaching remotely: Students will receive 3 issues to their e-mail address, which they will have to discuss in a total time of 1 hour. Teaching aids may be used, but not verbatim transcription from any source, including your own lecture notes. Each essay can receive up to 10 points, a satisfactory grade requires a total of 15 points. In classroom teaching Students will be given 60 questions on the exam and should select the correct answer from among four. A satisfactory grade is 30 points. |
