Full description:

The purpose of the seminar is to consolidate and supplement the knowledge of participants in the field of broadly understood civil law, as well as to help in the preparation of a master's disertation on a selected issue in the indicated thematic area. Classes are addressed to students interested in civil law issues and possessing relevant knowledge on the indicated branch of law.

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:

EK 1 -

can choose the subject of the MA thesis, gather relevant literature, prepare a work plan and put forward basic theses

EK 2 -

knows how to design the main outline of the work, find the right research methods, develop test criteria and predict the results.

EK 3 -

is able to independently define the research thesis in the diploma thesis, derive conclusions based on theorems, recognize motives or causes, and prove and correctly conclude.

EK 4 -

can legibly present the thesis he has formulated. He correctly uses normative acts and court rulings.

EK 5 -

understands the need for continuous improvement of his knowledge, can solve dilemmas related to the exercise of legal professions, organize team work and implement innovative ideas.

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

The condition of passing the course is submission of the MA thesis prepared by the student and approved by the supervisor, as well as good knowledge of issues from the general part of civil law and its part related to the subject of the thesis.
