The monograph aims to familiarize students with the specifics of the private banking service, as well as legal problems that may occur during its provision.

Full description:

1. Private banking - characteristics.

2. Services provided as part of private banking.

3. History of private banking in Poland and in the world.

4. Legal basis for the provision of private banking services by banks.

5. Relationship connecting the client with the adviser delegated to his service; adviser's responsibility.

6. Irregularities during the provision of private banking services.

7. Identifying legal loopholes in the Polish legal system regarding the provision of private banking services and an attempt to formulate de lege ferenda postulates.

EK1 presents the characteristic features of the private banking service, as well as its history

EK2 characterizes the services provided under private banking

EK3 indicates the legal basis for the provision of private banking services by banks

EK4 describes the specific relationship between the client and the adviser delegated to support him

EK5 presents irregularities occurring during the provision of private banking services

EK6 identifies legal gaps in the Polish legal system regarding the provision of private banking services

EK7 uses theoretical knowledge in the field of public and private law to describe and analyze the facts of specific situations and indicate the resolution of the problem

EK8 participates in discussions on specific problems arising in connection with the provision of private banking services

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

Teaching methods for achieving learning outcomes EK1-EK8 are problem lecture, seminar lecture, discussion, case study, brainstorming.

Methods for verifying learning outcomes EK1-EK8 are class activity, observation of behavior, continuous assessment, written assignment or final presentation.
