Short description:	Konwersatorium poświęcone jest zagadnieniu starożytnych technik, a więc jak wytwarzano, przetwarzano oraz używano w przeszłości przedmioty i materiały. Studenci zostaną zaznajomieni z zagadnieniami takimi jak starożytny proces produkcji, techniki wytwarzania oraz nakład i organizacja pracy. Tematy zajęć podzielone są według głównych materiałów przetwarzanych w przeszłości (kamień, drewno, metal, szkło) i odtwarzają chronologię rozwoju technologicznych umiejętności ludzkości.
Full description:	Konwersatorium poświęcone jest zagadnieniu starożytnych technik, a więc jak wytwarzano, przetwarzano oraz używano w przeszłości przedmioty i materiały. Studenci zostaną zaznajomieni z zagadnieniami takimi jak starożytny proces produkcji, techniki wytwarzania oraz nakład i organizacja pracy. Tematy zajęć podzielone są według głównych materiałów przetwarzanych w przeszłości (kamień, drewno, metal, szkło) i odtwarzają chronologię rozwoju technologicznych umiejętności ludzkości.

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:	KNOWLEDGE: The student has ordered knowledge of ancient techniques, can define, characterize and describe them. SKILLS: The student is able to recognize and classify ancient techniques. Student is able to derive conclusions on the basis of scientific publications. Can prepare a given subject in a form of an oral presentation and written work with the bibliography and references. COMPETENCIES: The student can independently seek information on a given topic, participate in a discuss, and is creative and open to the opinions of other team members. At the same time can be critical to scientific theses. Student activity / workload in hours: participation in the classes - 30 hours consultations - 5 hours time to prepare a presentation - 20 hours time to write an essay - 20 hours preparation for classes - 20 hours preparation for colloquium - 20 hours TOTAL HOURS - 115 NUMBER OF ECTS - 115 HOURS = 4 ECTS
Assessment methods and assessment criteria:	Each student is required to prepare and submit one presentation during the semester. Presentation topics and their terms are going to be presented to students during the first class. The presentation may not be less than 15 nor more than 20 minutes. The evaluation shall assess the choice of material, clarity of presentation, structure of, the visual attractiveness of the media (attractiveness of the message, which actually makes it easier to understand the presented content) and preparation of the speaker. Also assessed is the activity of the student in the classroom. Classes end with a of test the material at the end the semester. It has test questions and open questions.
