During the course, the main issues of assessing the economic and financial standing of the company are taken up.

Full description:

The purpose of the course is to familiarize students with the subject and scope of economic analysis including financial analysis and economic and technical analysis, methods used in economic analysis, static and dynamic methods of evaluation of investment projects. The scope of financial analysis includes the preliminary analysis of basic financial statements and the assessment of profitability, liquidity, debt and business performance and the factors that shape the financial result, ie analysis and assessment of revenues and costs of operations. Economic analysis analyzes and analyzes the management of fixed assets, human resources, stocks.

Knowledge of methods and tools (mathematical-statistical), including data acquisition techniques, relevant to economic sciences, allowing to describe socio-economic structures and institutions, processes occurring in them, and relations between them

U1- Can critically analyze the economic and financial indicators of an enterprise - K_U01 is able to critically analyze basic socio-economic phenomena and their dependencies

U2- Can use the economic data to carry out economic analysis properly - K_U03 can interpret economic data and use economic data sources

U3- Can prepare and write an economic analysis of an enterprise -

K1 - Student can write business analysis on the basis of many data from the company and the environment

K2- Analytical thinking: It alone and effectively works with large amounts of data, perceives dependencies and correctly draws conclusions using logic principles; He can precisely formulate questions to deepen his or her own understanding of the subject or to find missing elements of reasoning.

K3 knows how to use economic terminology and has the ability to prepare typical Polish written and oral texts at the elementary level, using basic theoretical approaches.

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

Prerequisite for passing the course and obtaining the final grade is a positive assessment from the exercises and the exam

98-100 points from the exercises slows down from the exam and gives you the right to final grade 5.0

93-97 points from the exercises frees from the exam and gives you the right to final grade 4.5

83-92 points from the exercises are exempt from the exam and give you the right to final grade 4.0

In any other case, the exam grade is the final grade.

Practical placement:

During the traineeship, the student should use the knowledge of the subject matter. The type of business entity and institution, the scope of duties, the activities carried out, the tasks entrusted to the student for performance during the apprenticeship should be correlated in key issues with the subject matter.
