  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;

Short description:

Preparation for carrying out the analysis of available or created information supporting the making of rational decisions embedded in the canons of economic sciences and beyond.

Full description:

1. The subject, functions and purposefulness of statistics. Statistical research - types of research, the process of statistical research.

2. General population and statistical sample - methods of selecting the research sample.

3. Tabular and graphical presentation of statistical data, the use of statistical research results.

3. Structure analysis on the basis of classical and positional parameters - average measures.

4. Structure analysis based on the parameters of the distribution of one variable - dispersion.

5. Analysis of the structure of distribution - asymmetry and concentration.

6. Analysis of the interdependence of phenomena - correlation of quantitative features.

7. Analysis of the interdependence of phenomena - correlation of qualitative features.

8. Dynamics analysis - linear trend.

9. Statistical inference - distribution of variables and verification of parametric hypotheses.

She/ He has a basic knowledge of statistics, as a social science, its place in the system of science and the relationship to other sciences

She/He knows the techniques of data collection, appropriate for the descriptive statistics and other subjects under the direction of the economy, allowing respondents to describe the structure of the community.

She/He knows the parameters describing the phenomenon of mass at a basic level

She/He knows the methods of preparation and presentation of the material dara research

Can carry out the statistics surveys and apply the results of research

Understands the need for systematic learning objects as a linear character

Can interact and work in a group, assuming different roles in it
