Short description: |
Students will be familiarized with the compositional determinants, formal and treściowymi individual species and varieties of journalistic expression, and also the work of selected classics of journalism. Great emphasis will also be placed on language issues related to the implementation of specific journalistic genres. Theoretical knowledge we gain, it will serve to improve journalists' skills. |

Student workload: 1. Participation in the lecture - 30 hours. 2. Independent reading - 15 hours. 3. Individual preparation for the test - 15 hours. 60 hours = 2 ECTS These learning outcomes: 1. The student knows the specifics of journalistic creativity and contemporary journalistic and understand their functions. (IN.) 2. The student is able to recognize the various forms of journalism in contemporary media present to assess their compliance with the standards genre. (AT) 3. Student can independently prepare a variety of texts that meet the basic requirements of species of different forms of journalism. (AT) 4. Student organizes journalistic work in order to optimize the operation in order to prepare a specific publication. (AT) 5. Student retains the criticism in the evaluation of contemporary journalistic publication. (Q) |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
The verification method of learning outcomes: final test or project (presentation) commissioned during the semester. EK 1: - To assess the 2 - student does not know the specifics of the work of journalists and contemporary journalistic genres and does not understand the functions performed by them; - The evaluation of 3 - the student is able to characterize the specificity of a basic journalistic works and replace the modern types of journalism, but it can not indicate their function; - To assess the 4 - student describes the specifics of the work of journalism and journalistic genres and their functions, but does not do it smoothly; - The evaluation of 5 - student smoothly and using practical examples describes the specifics of the work of journalists and their journalistic functions. EK 2: - To assess the 2 - student does not recognize the current form of journalism in contemporary media, and can not assess their compliance with the standards genre; - To evaluate the 3 - student recognizes the forms of journalism obecnew in today's media, but it can not assess their compliance with the standards genre; - To assess the 4 - student recognizes journalistic forms present in contemporary media and assess their compliance with the standards genre, but its sometimes incomplete; selective and not exhaustive; - The evaluation of 5 - the student does not have any difficulty with the proper classification of forms present in the modern media; can fairly and in complete way to assess their compliance with the standards genre. EK 3: - To assess the 2 - student can not prepare yourself any texts that meet the basic requirements of species of various forms of journalism; - The evaluation of 3 - the student is able to implement only the simplest forms of journalistic expression that meet the criteria of publication journalism (news, press release, the announcement of the event); - To assess the 4 - student is able to prepare texts on the various properties of species, but his works are not distinguished by their originality; - The evaluation of 5 - the student is able to prepare the text of any mentioned features genre, and his works are characterized by originality (in terms of treatment of the subject, the language used and the composition of the text). EK 4: - To assess the 2 - student can not arrange journalistic work in order to optimize the activities for specific publications; - To evaluate the 3 - student attempts to optimize operation for efficient preparation of publications, but the objectives comes to him with difficulty: it has discipline problems temporal constraints on the length of the text and its efficient composition; - To assess the 4 - student can well organize your work, but in the so-called. favorable conditions; its effectiveness is variable; - The evaluation of 5 - student copes well with the organization of work, resulting in the original texts that meet the requirements of various journalistic publications. EK 5: - To assess the 2 - a student can not be analyzed journalistic publications; - The evaluation of 3 - the student is able to distinguish between journalistic publications, but does not know how to evaluate their possible deficiencies, non-compliance with the standards genre and identify opportunities to improve their quality; - To assess the 4 - student publications distinguish between journalism and indicates their potential "strengths and weaknesses", but not always able to suggest desirable changes in the texts; - The evaluation of 5 - student unmistakably distinguishes and evaluates journalistic publications and suggests solutions to improve their quality. Teaching methods: EK 1: lecture informative and conversational, case studies, reading. EK 2: conversational lecture, case study; discuss problems with the use of participatory methodologies. EK 3: conversational lecture, discussion and evaluation problematic. EK 4: conversational lecture, discussion problematic. EK 5: conversational lecture, discussion, problem with the use of activating methods, self-reflection. |
