Preliminary Requirements: | Interest in press journalism. Reading on a regular basis the press - dailies and weekly opinion-makers. |
Short description: |
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the principles / requirements of press journalism and exercises in writing an interview exercises in writing an interview and as an example of another journalistic genre: a column. The final mark consists of the preparation of two texts - an interview and a column; active participation in classes, preparation ordered exercises. The student has the right to 2 absences. |

1. How to write so that the texts in the press are noticed, read and remembered. 2. 25 principles of good press journalism. 3. Interview as a journalistic genre. 4. Analysis of the structure and content of selected interviews. 5. Masters of intelligence in Poland and abroad. 6. How to prepare and develop an interview. Students choose interview persons and topics. 7 and 8. Common discussion of the work-interviews prepared by students. 9 and 10. Column as a journalistic genre. Column as a journalistic genre. Features (theme, form, structure). 11. Masters of the genre. Famous columnists and their texts. 12. The language of the column. Selection of the topic of columns written by students. 13 and 14. Discussing columns prepared by students together. 15. Summary of the classes. |

EK 2 is able to carry out and develop a press interview Ek 3 can write a column according to the principles of journalistic art Student workload: 15 hours - actively participates in exercises 5 hours - preparation for exercises 10 hours - preparation of two texts - an interview and a column Total 30 hours = 2 ECTS |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
Teaching methods: EK nr 1 implemented by the problem method (explanation and explanation) Ek nr 2 implemented by practical methods (subject exercises) EK No. 3 implemented by practical methods (subject exercises) ad EK1 ffor the ndst. 1. Press journalism the queen of journalism. Features of journalistic and borderline genres. 25 principles of good press journalism. 2. Interview as a journalistic genre. Features of the species. 3 and 4. Analysis of the structure and content of selected interviews. 5. Intelligence masters in Poland and abroad. 6. How to prepare for an interview and how to develop it. Students choose the interlocutors and topics of the interviews. 7 and 8. Joint discussion of works-interviews prepared by students. 9 and 10. Column as a journalistic genre. Features (theme, form, structure). 11. Masters of the genre. Famous columnists and their texts. 12. The language of the column. Choosing the topic of columns written by students. 13 and 14. Joint discussion of articles prepared by students. 15. Summary of classes. |

(3) zna w stopniu dostatecznym cechy prasowych gatunków dziennikarskich (wywiad, gatunki informacyjne, publicystyczne - szczególnie felieton) na ocenę db (4) zna cechy prasowych gatunków dziennikarskich (wywiad, gatunki informacyjne, publicystyczne - szczególnie felieton) w stopniu dobrym na ocenę bdb (5) bardzo dobrze zna cechy prasowych gatunków dziennikarskich (wywiad, gatunki informacyjne, publicystyczne - szczególnie felieton) ad EK 2 na ocenę ndst. (2) nie potrafi przeprowadzić i opracować wywiadu prasowego na ocenę dost. Wymagania wstępne: |
(in Polish) Student może mieć w trakcie semestru 2 nieobecności. Zobowiązany jest napisać dwie prace - wywiad i felieton oraz przygotowywać prace domowe. Składową oceny końcowej jest także aktywność studenta na zajęciach. |
