Short description: |
Acquainting students with goals, tasks and forms of the work with adult christians in parish is a purpose of classes. The participants is getting acquainted also with the specificity of the development of the man of the adult and the most important problems which the adult Christian is contending. |

Contents: 1. Religious education of adults in documents of the Church. 2. Christian education in the ancient times. 3. Specificity of the development of the man of the adult. 4. Adult as the recipient of catechesis. 5. The purpose and objectives of the religious education of adults. 6. Selection criteria of contents and methods in the religious education of adults. 7. "Ritulas of Becoming the Christian for Adults". 8. The religious education of adults and the family catechesis. 9. Criteria of mature faith and mature groups of faith. 10. Ability of spiritual discerning in the religious education of adults. 11. The adult Christian in the contemporary culture. 12. Problems of adults and the Christian life. 13. Circles of the Home Church as the example of the religious education of adults. 14. Participation of adults in the upbringing of children. 15. Religious education of elderly persons. |

KNOWLEDGE: EK No. 1 - student knows the main line of catechesis of adults EK No. 2 - student knows how to organize catechesis of adults EK No. 3 - student can list the criteria for selection of contents and methods of catechesis of adults SKILLS: EK No. 4 - student is able to arrange a meeting with the adult Christians EK No. 5 - student creatively uses knowledge of the catechesis of adults in activating adult to engage in the life of the parish COMPETENCES: EK No. 6 - student is aware of the need to work in the parish of adult Christians and animate development of mature faith communities |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
at 5 - the student is able to achieve a documented project of work with adult Christians in the parish (goals 1-6) at 4 - the student knows the theoretical foundations of adult catechesis, and I can encourage parents to join the catechesis of their children (goals 1-3 and 5) at 3 - the student has factual knowledge, there is adult catechesis and what are the methods of working with adult Christians (goals 1 and 3) |
