Short description: |
The seminar covers issues in interreligious dialogue and humanitarian aid. The issues presented serve to illustrate the broader context of the problems of fundamental theology and religious studies. Participants of the seminar, getting to know the method of scientific work within these disciplines, prepare their own papers and scientific works, which are discussed during the seminar. |

knowledge: 1. The student knows the main issues of interfaith dialogue and humanitarian aid 2. knows elements of fundamental theological method 3. acquaints with basic literature of the subject skills: 1. the student is able to distinguish different theological disciplines 2. correctly uses methodology in his works, creates a plan of research and paper 3. reviews the work of others in the given discipline. social competences: 1. the student is able to discuss methodology in science, 2. seeks out different approaches to fundamental theology and implements them in scientific work 3. works in a group to identify new problems in fundamental theology and ways to solve them. ECTS 7: 1 pt - participation in seminars 2 pt - research and study of sources 3 pt - writing a research paper (MA, BA in Canonics) 1 pt - preparation for assessment (paper) |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
1. group work, analysis of selected texts, discussion, 2. assessment of the progress of the preparation of the scientific work, active participation in classes Evaluation criteria: Knowledge: unsatisfactory (fail - 2): the student does not have basic knowledge about interfaith dialogue and humanitarian aid, satisfactory (3): knows elementary methods of interfaith dialogue and humanitarian aid, good (4): has mastered range of the interfaith dialogue and humanitarian aid very good (5): selects specific topics from interfaith dialogue and humanitarian aid Skills: unsatisfactory (2): the student is unable to develop his own research technique, satisfactory (3): has the ability to correctly process scientific data, good (4): tries to solve the posed scientific problems, very good (5): proposes and develops original topics of scientific papers. Social competences: unsatisfactory (2): the student does not know how to use the acquired knowledge of methodology, sufficient (3): recognizes the social context of scientific work, but does not develop research methods, good (4): uses the research method to solve church and social problems, very good (5): works in an interdisciplinary way; follows ongoing changes in the issues of interfaith dialogue and humanitarian aid and its methods. |
