Basic Aims of the subject: The subject aims to teach students upon the dogmatic doctrine of the Church relative to the mystery of Incarnation of the Son of God and Redemption. In the first part – christological, there will discussed the biblical witnesses regarding the mystery of Incarnation, and later on the development of the christological dogma throughout the centuries (the most important christological heresies and resolutions of councils). The summary of the first part consists in describing the way in which to perceive the mystery of Christ in the modern theology and in other confessions and religions of the world. In the second part –soteriological, there will be discussed the biblical teaching upon salvation, different soteriological models, universalism and personalism of salvation, and the triumphing phase of Redemption, that is the last christological articles of Credo. Meritoric contents: 1.Main Christological concepts 2.The expected Messiah and the most significant messianic prophecies of the Old Testament. Meaning of the title “Son of God”. 3.Revelation of the mystery of Christ in synoptic gospels; Christology of St. Paul. 4.Main ideas of St. John's christology. 5.First christological heresies. 6.Nestorianism and Council of Ephesus in 431. 7.Monofisitism and Council of Chalcedon in 451. 8.Monoteletism and III Council of Constantinople in 680-681. 9.Humanity of Christ in the dogmatic Tradition of the Church and human conscience of Christ. 10.Christology of St. Thomas, St. Bonaventure and Bl. John Duns Scotus. Dispute about the reason of Incarnation. 11.Characteristics of orthodox and protestant christology, modern theology of liberation. Person of Christ in contemporary Judaism, by Jehovah's witnesses and in New Age. 12.Main interpretations of the death of Christ and concepts of salvation in theology. 13.Christ as a Mediator. His royal, prophetic and sacerdotal function. 14.Universalism of salvation. 15. Triumphing phase of Redemption. |

(in Polish) Student ma uporządkowaną, pogłębioną, prowadzącą do specjalizacji, szczegółową wiedzę z zakresu teologii systematycznej, zwłaszcza fundamentalnej, dogmatycznej i moralnej. Potrafi samodzielnie wyszukiwać, analizować, oceniać, selekcjonować i integrować informacje z wykorzystaniem różnych źródeł oraz formułować na tej podstawie krytyczne sądy z wykorzystaniem wiedzy teologicznej. Posiada umiejętności badawcze w zakresie teologii, obejmujące zwłaszcza analizę tekstów filozoficznych, biblijnych i teologicznych, syntezę różnych idei i poglądów, dobór metod i konstruowanie narzędzi badawczych, opracowanie i prezentację wyników, pozwalające na oryginalne rozwiązywanie złożonych problemów. Posiada umiejętność interpretowania podstawowych źródeł teologicznych, z wykorzystaniem tekstów obcojęzycznych.
