Short description:

The aim of the course is to present the diversity of forms of religious live in the framework of Judaism in different times and different places, in the contact with different cultural influences. The task of course is also the demonstration of diversity of premises for the answer to the question about sociological o theological character of diaspora concept.

Student knows the sources do the history of Jewish diaspora and Jewish religion(s) in the Second Temple period.

Student is conscious of concurrence of historical, religion study's related and theological topics in the problem of diaspora and its religion.

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

LOC nr 1 described as "knows the chronological and geographic diversity of Judaism in the Second Temple period".

For the note:

Insufficient (2): don't knows the chronological and geographic diversity of Judaism in the Second Temple period.

Sufficient (3): knows the chronological and geographic diversity of Judaism in the Second Temple period on the basic level.

Good (4): knows the chronological and geographic diversity of Judaism in the Second Temple period on the sufficient level.

Very good (5): knows the chronological and geographic diversity of Judaism in the Second Temple period on the high level and draws from this knowledge correct conclusions.
