Short description:

The lectures are aimed at presenting the nature and tasks of pastoral theology as a scientific reflection on how the Church realises its role as the People of God at present. The students are to get a better insight of the nature and functions of the Church and become aware of the responsibility for the realisation of its mission.

KNOWLEDGE:

- Explains the nature and task of pastoral theology

- Characterizes the essence of the Church and its functions

- Explains the role of the laity in the pastoral ministry of the Church

- Describes the various types of pastoral

- Knows the main principles of the Church's evangelizing activity

SKILLS:

- Analyze selected documents of the Church concerning its activities

    evangelizing

- Recognize the signs of the times and provide any adequate response

- Provides for possible changes in the socio-religious

- Be able to create models of pastoral activity of the Church

POWERS:

- Discusses the Church's salvific activity relating it to the indications

   teaching of the Magisterium

- Is open to cooperation with others in pastoral activities

- Appreciates the interdisciplinary approach to problem solving

- Knows how to work in a team

- Has a responsibility for carrying out the apostolic mission of the Church

- Is able to engage in various activities of evangelization

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

EK 1. Knowledge:

(2) does not have the basic knowledge on pastoral theology; does not know what is pastoral theology, does not know its essence and principles

(3) have a basic knowledge of pastoral theology; knows the methods of pastoral theology, he can collect research material and make the classification.

(4); taken an interest in the issues; describes the various forms of pastoral

(5) can in an interesting and accurate way to explain the nature and task of pastoral theology, pastoral describe the types and knows the main principles of the Church's activity

EK 2. Skills:

(2) does not have the basic skills to use the documents of the Church, can not name or describe the signs of the times, is not able to create models of pastoral

(3) has the ability to correct diagnosis signs of the times, able to analyze the documents of the Church

(4) propose and implement solutions to the problems of theology; is active in the discussions in the lecture; looking for answers to the problems.

(5): can offer original solutions in the context of the ministry, is able to analyze documents of the Church, it is original in their statements

EK 3. Social competence:

(2) does not see the possibility of using the knowledge gained.

(3): implements known material briefly and in general terms, remaining at the primary level.

(4) has the ability to use research techniques to solutions that are important ecclesial or pan-social.

(5) is able to work in an interdisciplinary; keeps track of changes occur in the issues of science and its methods. Initiatives coming out of the new solutions.
