Short description:	Level of course: Elementary Objectives of the course:As the result of the course the student should come to know the arguments that justify the catechetical mission of the family end the specific tasks for the catechesis of children and youth conducted inside the family.. Prerequisites: The knowledge of the notions of family and domestic Church, information concerning the importance of the family for the development of the human being and for one’s functioning in different societies, especially in the Church
Full description:	Course Contens: On the background of the main aims of catechesis underlined will be the tasks attributed to the family as an environment of catechesis. Some of these are directly connected with the education in faith, while others are concerned with aiding the personal-social development of the child, for the anthropological dimension is very accented in contemporary catechesis. A historical analysis will in turn allow to see the evolution in the content of catechetical tasks, which the Church placed before the family through the centuries. The greatest attention will be given to those catechetical tasks that are placed before the family today and in the nearest future. Assessment methods:Oral exam
