Short description:	Course level: Intermediate Course targets: The lecture concerns the truth dealing with the Catholic teaching on grace, beginning with the biblical perspective, through the development of the dogma, to the contemporary points of view. The systematic part stresses the grace in a sinner’s life, justification and grace in justified man. It also covers the issue of meritorious acts and universality of the free distribution of grace. Entrance requirements: Knowledge of the basic issues in theology, drawn up within “Introduction”.

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:	The lecture concerns the truth dealing with the Catholic teaching on grace, beginning with the biblical perspective, through the development of the dogma, to the contemporary points of view. The systematic part stresses the grace in a sinner’s life, justification and grace in justified man. It also covers the issue of meritorious acts and universality of the free distribution of grace.
Assessment methods and assessment criteria:	Assessment methods: Oral examinations. Active participation in lecturers, based on the knowledge of the Reading list.
Practical placement:	(in Polish) Współcześnie społeczeństwa Europy chylą się ku upadkowi, ponieważ od wielu lat konsekwentnie wykorzeniają się z swojej bogatej gleby chrześcijańskiej tradycji. Starając się w jakimś stopniu przeciwdziałać temu procesowi, praktyki zawodowe związane z wykładem o lasce Bożej ukazują, że nauka Księgi Rodzaju, pogłębiona przez Jezusa Chrystusa w perspektywie nowotestamentowej, zawiera klucz do zrozumienia i uznania osobowej wartości człowieka w społeczności, otwartego na perspektywę nadprzyrodzoną, a więc przyjmującego łaskę Bożą oraz dary zbawczej wiary, nadziei i miłości. Dzięki temu otwarciu może on najpełniej wyrażać się jako osoba i równocześnie coraz lepiej widzieć sens życia własnego i innych. Praktyki starają się wyczerpująco odpowiadać na wezwanie papieży doby posoborowej i całego współczesnego Kościoła, aby nowa ewangelizacja niezmiennie koncentrowała się na antropologicznej nowości chrześcijaństwa.
