Short description:	Basic Course Aims of the subject: The aim of the lecture is to present the teaching of the Church upon the Blessed Virgin Mary and her role in the mystery of Christ and the Church. First, there will be described the doctrine upon the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Holy Scripture, and then each of Marian dogmas. Furthermore, there will be discussed the following matters: intermediation of the Virgin Mary, her participation in the opera of salvation, and the relations: Virgin Mary and Holy Spirit, Virgin Mary and Church. In conclusion, there will be presented the issue of Marian apparitions. Preliminary requirements: general knowledge of theology
Full description:	Meritoric contents: 1.Prophecies upon the Virgin Mary in the Old Testament. 2.Figure of Virgin Mary in the New Testament. 3 Divine motherhood of the Blessed Virgin Mary and her eternal virginity. 4.Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. 5.Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. 6.Participation of the Virgin Mary in the opera of redemption and her universal motherhood and intermediation. 7.Virgin Mary and the Church. Characteristics of the modern Marian cult. The rules of the renewal of the Marian cult according to the Exhortation „Marialis Cultus”. 8.The criteria of the authenticity of Marian apparitions.

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:	(in Polish) Student ma uporządkowaną, pogłębioną wiedzę, obejmującą teorie i metodologię teologii, dającą możliwość specjalizacji w ramach studiów trzeciego stopnia. Ma uporządkowaną, pogłębioną, prowadzącą do specjalizacji, szczegółową wiedzę z zakresu teologii systematycznej, zwłaszcza fundamentalnej, dogmatycznej i moralnej. Potrafi samodzielnie wyszukiwać, analizować, oceniać, selekcjonować i integrować informacje z wykorzystaniem różnych źródeł oraz formułować na tej podstawie krytyczne sądy z wykorzystaniem wiedzy teologicznej. Posiada umiejętność interpretowania podstawowych źródeł teologicznych, z wykorzystaniem tekstów obcojęzycznych. Identyfikuje i rozstrzyga dylematy - zwłaszcza doktrynalne i etyczno-moralne - związane z życiem indywidualnym i społecznym.
