Short description:	Course level: basic Objectives of the course: general - to familiarize students with the basic problems of general pedagogy, specific - showing various problems of general education in a historical perspective and to highlight the situations of life worthy of pedagogical attention - in the first semester The effect of education - first semester: sensitivity to the relevance of even the remotest events and teaching the skills of observation of everyday events in terms of their pedagogical evaluation Prerequisites: - basic knowledge of philosophy and methodology of intellectual work
Full description:	Course contents: First semester: 1.Preliminary issues including a breakdown of departments pedagogics depending on the stage of human development; 2. Methodology of collection and analysis of pedagogic experience; 3. Attempt to define the process of education; 4. The role of the principle of subjectivity. 5. The role of the principle of subsidiarity; 6. The objectives of pedagogics: self-upbringing, self-education, development of mature personality; 7. Parental attitude; 8. The place of the child in the family and the threats of its development; 9. The place of a disabled child in the family; 10. The development of pedagogic thought from antiquity to the Renaissance (general characteristics); 11. Old Greek inspiration; 12. Old Roman inspiration; 13. Influence of Christianity; 14. Middle Ages; 15. Renaissance.

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:	(in Polish) Wiedza: student wie czym zajmuje się pedagogika, zna jej główne założenia i metody oraz zna podstawowe pojęcia i orientuje się w dynamice rozwoju myśli pedagogicznej od początku historii wychowania do okresu Odrodzenia - w tym także elementów wiedzy dotyczącej osób z niepełnosprawnością Umiejętności: student umie wyrobić sobie własny sąd o prezentowanych zjawiskach wychowawczych, potrafi samodzielnie skonstruować narzędzia badawcze do badań pedagogicznych; potrafi również samodzielnie przygotować materiał do dyskusji podczas zajęć. Kompetencje: student jest otwarty na wchodzenie w relacje z osobą prowadzącą jak również na zagadnienia poruszane podczas zajęć. Prawidłowo rozstrzyga dylematy natury pedagogicznej i etycznej. ETCS: udział w wykładzie - 8 przygotowanie do wykładu i lektura tekstów do wygłoszenia krótkiej pogadanki, w oparciu o książkę J.Plachy "Pedagogia na co dzień" - 4 przygotowanie do egzaminu 4 SUMA GODZIN: 16 : 8 = 2 LICZBA ETCS - 2
