  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;

Aim:

presentation of the nature, the stucture and the meaning of a liturgical year in religious education (general and detailed depictions). The focus will be on typical solemnities and liturgical meaning of a liturgical year.

Full description:

Essential content:

The lectures present truths contained in Church’s documents, which depict inseparable union of religious education with liturgy and sacraments. Since in sacraments, and particularly in the Eucharist, Christ acts fully in order to transform a man. This is why the religious education should lead to an active, conscious and complete participation in liturgical celebrations.

The syllabus of lectures covers the following issues:

-Liturgy as a source and an aim of religious education. Sacramental religious education;

-Liturgical year in documents of the Second Vatican Council;

-Liturgy as a way of Christian education (liturgy as a school of faith, prayer, morality, spiritual life and aesthetics);

-Sunday, the oldest and the first holiday – its history, meaning and names;

-Dialogue between God and a man in the liturgy of Advent and Christmas;

-God summoning people and the community which responds to His call, seen from the perspective of the liturgy of Lent, the Easter Triduum and the Easter Season;

-Theology of the liturgy of Ordinary Time;

-Worship of Blessed Virgin Mary and of the saints as a way of love for the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit as well as a way of an accomplishment of Church’s life;

-Liturgical year in a parish;

-Place of the Paschal Mystery in the liturgical year.

Assessment Methods:

Knowledge of students will be assessed by a test concerning lectures content and based on prepared thesis.

15 godz. - udział w wykładzie

15 godz. - przygotowanie prezentacji multimedialnej bądź referatu na wskazany temat

30 godz. - przygotowanie się do części ustnej kolokwium poprzez lekturę materiałów z wykładów oraz literatury przedmiotu.
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: (in Polish)

Kolokwium końcowe (zaliczenie z oceną). Na ocenę końcową składa się:

- przygotowanie prezentacji multimedialnej bądź referatu na wskazy temat (50% oceny końcowej);

- odpowiedź ustna na podstawie materiału przedstawionego podczas wykładów (forma zaliczenia odpowiedzi ustnej ze względu na pandemię w semestrze zimowym 2020/2021 odbędzie się online - poprzez MSTeams) - student odpowiada na pytania postawione przez wykładowcę, wcześniej przed częścią ustną kolokwium otrzymuje tezy, na podstawie których przygotowuje się do odpowiedzi) [50% oceny końcowej]

dst (3): zna pojęcie roku kościelnego i jego strukturę, zna najważniejsze święta i okresy w roku kościelnym

db (4): zna pojęcie roku kościelnego, jego strukturę podział świąt, zna historię i teologię poszczególnych celebracji roku kościelnego

bdb (5): zna pojęcie roku kościelnego, jego strukturę, zna rozwój historycznych poszczególnych obchodów w roku kościelnym oraz teologię wypływającą z analizy hermeneutycznej tekstów liturgicznych

EK2:

ndst (2): nie umie wyjaśnić czym jest rok kościelny i jaką ma strukturę, nie umie przedstawić innym głównych obchodów roku kościelnego

dst (3): umie wyjaśnić innym definicję roku kościelnego i jego strukturę, podział świąt, umie przekazać innym podstawowe informacje na temat poszczególnych świąt i okresów liturgicznych

db (4): umie wyjaśnić innym pojęcie roku kościelnego i jego układ, umie wyjaśnić innym historię powstania najważniejszych świąt i okresów liturgicznych oraz ukazać główne tematy teologiczne na podstawie analizy lex orandi

Bdb (5): umie wyjaśnić genezę, pojęcie roku kościelnego, historię kalendarza kościelnego i jego układ, umie zaprezentować innym święta i okresy liturgiczne w ich historycznym rozwoju oraz teologię i parenezę na podstawie analizy hermeneutycznej współczesnych tekstów liturgicznych, umie ukazać innych formy pobożności ludowej związane z poszczególnymi obchodami roku kościelnego.

EK 3 Kompetencje społeczne - potrafi wyjaśnić innym pojęcie i strukturę roku kościelnego oraz znaczenie teologiczne poszczególnych celebracji roku kościelnego oraz ukazać ich korelacje z kulturą (folklor, zwyczaje, pobożność ludowa) i ich wpływ na życie duchowe człowieka (lex vivendi); potrafi wskazać innych i objaśnić formy pobożności ludowej związane z poszczególnymi okresami w roku kościelnym.
