Full description:

The basic elements of moral theology since Vatican II. Biblical and theological themes that define the person in Christ. The Christian meaning of sin, virtue, conscience, law and moral discernment. The Christian experience of conversion and reconciliation in the way of discipleship.

This course has a number of goals:

•To introduce the students to basic concepts of fundamental moral theology and

to help them to understand and appreciate the Magisterium of Catholic Church teachings.

•To invite the students reflect on the moral dimensions of their experience and life.

•To challenge the students to recognize that Christian morality is not simply

a system of ideas and doctrines but it also be lived and applied in a personal, pastoral way.
