Short description:

Since the conditions of hermeneutical theology, justified for fundamental theology by the French theologian Henri de Lubac, a space of encounter between apologetics and theology has emerged. This caused a paradigm shift in theology in the 20th century. From now on, fundamental theology can be understood as hermeneutics.

This lecture will try to present the evolution of this change.

The perspective of hermeneutics will make it possible in this lecture to present the theology of Revelation, to describe the work of theology and to touch upon the great classical themes of fundamental theology: the principle of faith, Scripture and Tradition, the Magisterium, ecclesiality, scientificity and the practical significance of theology.
