Classes aim to exegetically elucidate chosen passages from the Gospel of John.
Full description:

The aim of the course is an exegetical analysis of selected passages from the Gospel according to St. John using various research methods. The lecture is conducted with the active participation of the students in the reading of texts in the original language, their translation into Polish and multi-faceted interpretation.

The following texts will be analyzed during the course: John 6; 13 - 17; 18 - 19; 21.

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:

EK 1: The student is to acquire well-established interdisciplinary knowledge thanks to a comprehensive analysis and interpretation of selected fragments of the Gospel of John.

EK2: The classes are designed to shape the student's ability to explain other biblical texts using the methodology practiced during the classes.

Ek 3: The course participant should be able to critically evaluate his / her own interpretations of texts.
Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

The final grade is the result of several elements: active participation in classes, writing a short (5 pages) text reflecting the acquired exegetical skills and well-established knowledge verified on the final oral exam.
