Short description:	level of course: Elementary objectives of the course: - learning Italian pronunciation, developing writing skills - Studying grammatical rules at intermediate level with special focus on prepositions to describe location of objects and people as well as tenses and aspects of verbs to describe not only everyday activities but also to express one's wishes and needs (useful in prayers and in discussing one's spiritual problems) - Learning vocabulary for everyday use and specific vocabulary which helps to understand the Bible, breviary and liturgy. prerequisites: No prerequisites
Full description:	course contents: - Spoken language: ability to Get around in Italy, conducting simple conversations related to problems of daily life, learning the most popular prayers, - In writing, using a dictionary:Ability to write about spiritual problems, writing down simple prayers, requests etc. - ability to have a conversation in Italian related to any aspect of daily life, - reciting breviary in Italian - discussing spiritual topics in Italian - translating simple texts assessment methods: Regular assessment (each student demonstrates his knowledge of the currently taught material during classes) Final grades are based on the results of oral and written exam.
