Short description:	level of course: Elementary objectives of the course: Liturgics is a theological science concerning liturgy, hence it involves the rites of the Church. Liturgics focuses on the history of liturgical rites, their appropriate form, theological thought, pastoral functions and ascetic content. This all helps to understand the present significance of liturgy. It indicates which rites have their origin in God and which ones originated in the Church. Liturgics also indicates the proper ways of performing the rites. It is related to a daily life of any priest. prerequisites: Knowledge and abilities acquired in secondary school and in the subject Introduction into Christianity taught in Year 1.
