level of course: Elementary objectives of the course: Acquiring basic knowledge to justify the credibility of Christian epiphany, which enables to explain the foundations of faith and participate in a debate in its defence. At the same time the subject prepares to study other theological sciences. prerequisites: Basic knowledge of methodology of science and theory of cognition which enables to create rational systems of justification as well as rudimentary knowledge of theological propaedeutic. Competence in problems concerning different points of view, those involving atheism, faith and religious sciences. |

course contents: The lecture is meant to offer evidence for divine origin of Christianity based on reason and the basis to study other theological disciplines. Fundamental Christology aims to achieve that in relation to Christ and Revelation. It involves the following issues: the theory of fundamental theology as a field of science, the notion of Revelation, criteria of its credibility, types of theological and fundamental discourse, the idea of Christian epiphany and justification of its credibility. assessment methods: Oral Examination |
