Liturgics is a theological science concerning liturgy, hence it involves the rites of the Church. Liturgics focuses on the history of liturgical rites, their appropriate form, theological thought, pastoral functions and ascetic content. This all helps to understand the present significance of liturgy. It indicates which rites have their origin in God and which ones originated in the Church. Liturgics also indicates the proper ways of performing the rites. It is related to a daily life of any priest.

The notion of Liturgy; the nature of liturgy and its significance in the life of the Church; the notion and qualities of religious cult; the character of liturgy as a hierarchical and social activity (liturgical law; educational and pastoral qualities of liturgy; liturgy and individual piety); the language of liturgy; liturgical books; tradition in liturgy.
