Introductory requirements: Knowledge of basic tenses in simple sentences and vocabulary in speaking and writing
Full description:	The content: reading short, simple texts such as advertisements, menus, time tables. Communicating on a social basis, writing short messages, letters of thanks. Prayers: Our Father, Glory be to the Father. Ways of marking: Oral tests of vocabulary in dialogues and guided stories. Written grammatical exercises. Oral marking of the subject at the end of the term for a credit: a story, dialogue and prayers-passive.

Efekty kształcenia i opis ECTS:	(in Polish) Student posiada wiedzę o różnych aspektach historii i kultury brytyjskiej, szczególnie w odniesieniu do funkcjonowania Kościoła. Student wie o sposobie omawiania w W. Brytanii zagadnień dotyczących Kościoła jako całości. Student wie jak pogłębiać swoją wiedzę w zakresie indywidualnym poprzez odpowiednie lektury i poznanie zasobów dostępnych w Internecie. Student zna angielskie słownictwo związane z liturgią, sakramentami, rokiem kościelnym itd. Student umie przedstawić swoje myśli w języku angielskim w sposób jasny, poprawny gramatycznie i zrozumiały dla osoby anglojęzycznej pod względem wymowy i intonacji Student umie postawić poprawnie pytań Student chętnie słucha innych i ustosunkowuje się do ich wypowiedzi z szacunkiem i uprzejmością, również, gdy się nie zgadza z przedstawionym stanowiskiem
