Short description:	Level of course: Average. Objectives of the course: Introduction into faith tradition and spirituality of the Church of the first millennium. Recognition of theological thought and ascetic (monastic) practice in tradition of different local Churches and their principal representatives. Preparation to the personal study of Fathers' works through synthetic seizure of their life and learning. Initial requirements: Knowledge of history of the Church of the first millennium and bases of the Christian learning of the faith and ascetic theology.
