Short description:	Elementary A/ Content related purpose: - to prove ability to discover God’s existence by means of natural mind, hence rationality of faith in God; - to indicate the necessity of placing the issue of God for understanding the reality; - to present the key nature of the issue of God in philosophy. B/ Educational purpose: - to deliver philosophical support for dogmatic theology; - to teach in conversations with people to use communicative natural-rational argumentation for existence of God. Basic knowledge of philosophical issues, first of all out of metaphysics, introduction to philosophy and history of philosophy. Credited first year of philosophical studies within the Higher Clerical Seminar (WSD) system of studies.
Full description:	Other arguments: ontological, deontological, from desire of happiness and from mystical experiences; Nature of God and possibility of its discovering; Arguments for existence of God in contemporary philosophy; God versus evil, God versus religions; “God of philosophers” versus “God of religion”. Oral exam in summer session covering the whole material. Before end of lessons the students shall receive exam theses. During the exam, which lasts 15 minutes, a student receives one of the theses to be referred and two short questions out from the whole material.
